The Story Behind Darkmatter
After 27 years in banking and risk management, I traded the boardroom for the DJ booth. Music had always been my creative outlet. Darkmatter gave it an identity of its own.
Whether I'm behind a DJ booth or in a boardroom, I've always believed that preparation creates confidence—and confidence creates great performances.
Every set is thoughtfully crafted, but no two are ever the same. Reading the room, building energy, and knowing when to let the music speak matter far more than simply pressing play.
My sound moves between house, tech house, and melodic techno. The music changes with the room, but the philosophy remains the same: create an experience that feels natural, engaging, and unmistakably Darkmatter.
Based in Buffalo, I perform throughout Western New York at corporate events, hospitality venues, charitable events, community festivals, and signature tailgate experiences.
Darkmatter takes its name from the invisible matter believed to shape galaxies. Great music has a way of shaping a room without becoming the center of attention.
